Conor Gallagher did not play a prominent role for Chelsea last season as the English midfielder has been overshadowed by the London side's new reinforcements.
For this reason, his departure from Stamford Bridge has been rumoured in recent days. However, Mauricio Pochettino, who currently coaches the Blues, denied the recent rumours at a press conference.
"I think the players that are here on the tour are in our plans, Chelsea’s plans. We are working very hard to try to add more players in different areas and hope that is possible soon," he began.
"Conor [Gallagher] is in our plans, I was talking with him the first day I arrived. In football, things can happen we cannot manage. At the moment, I am happy with him and his performance, he has two years on his contract. We have nothing to say."
Moreover, the Blues turned down a £40 million offer for the English midfielder, after West Ham sent in the bid on Tuesday.
