The next 'El Clasico' is just around the corner. The two Spanish giants will face each other on Saturday at 23.00 CEST in a Soccer Champions Tour friendly.
Both the veterans and the new signings are looking forward to one of the biggest Spanish derbies. This meeting will be the perfect warm-up for La Liga.
Ilkay Gundogan, who has joined Barcelona after leaving Manchester City, gave an interview to 'ESPN' and spoke about the big showdown between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
"['El Clasico' is] the biggest game in the world. Over the last seven years, and even before when I was in Germany, when it was 'El Clasico' everyone who loves football was in front of the TV. It's maybe the most prestigious game in world football," he said.
Moreover, he was asked about his next rival Jude Bellingham, who signed for Real Madrid this summer. The German said the youngster has "a lot to offer".
"[Bellingham] has shown at such a young age how much quality he has. He's impressive... With his work off the ball and his physicality, he combines a lot of things that a modern midfielder needs. And he also scores goals. He has a lot to offer."
