Gundogan on his future: "Barcelona is a beautiful city"

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan gave a press conference ahead of Germany's friendly against Colombia and spoke about his future. The German's contract with Guardiola's side expires at the end of June and he will be looking for a new destination.
"No decision has been made yet, I'm in the process of deciding my future. There was contact with Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund but it was never close since a return to the Bundesliga is not in my plans," he said.
The German joked when asked about his possible transfer to Barcelona, and said: "Barcelona is a beautiful city," he added.
Meanwhile, Guardiola, speaking at the Legends Trophy tournament in Emporda, in his native Catalonia, also said City were battling with his former side Barcelona over midfielder Gundogan.
"I know that Barcelona are interested - and City are too. I hope he stays with us. If he goes to Barca it would be an extraordinary signing. We're fighting for him to stay."
