Guti's brutal honesty about Benzema

Karim Benzema was once again dropped for Real Madrid's game in which his teammates lost the league lead away to Rayo Vallecano. The Frenchman has still not completely recovered, and his side are really missing him.
The ex-Madrid player Jose Maria Gutierrez 'Guti' did not hold back, and spoke his mind with regards to the recent Balon d'Or winner. The Spaniard claimed that the number 9 is thinking more about the World Cup than his club.
"I don't get it. Messi is playing at PSG and Lewandowski at Barcelona. And so are the rest of he players. There is the risk that you could miss out on the World Cup, but you have to get over that. You can't let your team down", he said to 'DAZN'.
What is more, the ex-midfielder reiterated that Benzema is saving himself for France: "It's obvious nobody wants to miss it, but they owe it to their teammates and opponents. You're not playing because you're thinking about the World Cup".
