Apart from sporting matters, Erling Haaland has more at stake financially. The Manchester City striker has his sights set on winning the Premier League and the Champions League, but he has other secondary objectives.
The Norwegian striker is the second highest paid player in the squad at around 22 million euros, second only to Kevin de Bruyne. However, he has other tasks on his plate to pocket a little over 4 million more.
According to 'TalkSport', if his team wins the Premier League title, a competition they currently lead after beating Arsenal, he will pocket an extra 1.1 million euros. The same amount he would receive if the team wins the Champions League.
As if that were not enough, he would add 400,000 euros if he wins the FA Cup final against Manchester United. For the Golden boot, an award he has virtually won, he would also receive 400,000 euros.
The final major bonus would be winning the Ballon d'Or, an award that was once valued at 1.1 million. In total, if Haaland were to achieve all the remaining goals between now and the end of the season, he would add just over €4 million to his salary.
