"I know Barca are interested in me"

Vitor Roque is only 18 years old and is attracting the attention of Barcelona, but that is not the most important thing in this news: the most important thing is that he knows it. He is part of a report published in three different chapters by 'Globoesporte' and, in the most recent one, he confirmed this reality.
"I'm trying to give my best at Athletico. I know Barcelona are interested and other clubs, too. But I want to focus here, I have a contract until 2027. I'm giving my best here and who knows? If it's good for Athletico Paranaense, for me, for my family... I hope a transfer can happen," he said. It is understood from this series of statements that he would like to generate a strong income for his owners.
Asked directly about the 'Cules', he replied: "It's a huge club where every kid dreams of playing, not just for Barcelona, but for European clubs. Every child has this dream. But Barca are a club that always gives opportunities to youngsters, it's different". With his last analysis, the Brazilian was referring to 'La Masia' and the step forward of players like Gavi, Araujo and Alex Balde.
