Brazilian Vinicius Junior, the star of Real Madrid' s comeback against Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund (5-2) with his hat-trick, was self-critical of his team after going 0-2 behind at half-time and assured that they have to “improve” because, “if not, the coach - Carlo Ancelotti - can't stand it”.
"Believe in us. At home and with our fans, anything can happen. When we got to the dressing room, we only listened to the coach and said one thing: if we score the first goal, we're going to come back again. We have to improve and play like that from the start; if not, the coach can't stand it,’ he told “Movistar+”.
"It's normal. We are seeing how we are going to play and the coach wants to make the games easier for us. In the second half, we changed the formation and the dynamic. It's our competition and we want to win it again," he added. Vinicius again showed his love for Real Madrid by assuring that he has "four more years on his contract", but that he wants to "stay forever" at the club.
He also refused to talk about the Ballon d'Or, which he could win on Monday 28th October. ‘I leave it to the people. They can say what they want, I'm happy when the fans chant my name’, he concluded.
