Liverpool climbed to third place in the Premier League table after claiming a 3-0 win over Brentford at Anfield on Sunday. Tsimikas performed remarkably well after playing as a starter in the defensive line by decision of Jurgen Klopp.
The Greek defender showed his potential during Sunday's meeting and is very grateful for the opportunities his coach has given him.
"It was not the best football I played in all these years with the teams I was with. It’s something that never happened to me. I always try to perform in this run of games.
"It was the first time it happened to me, as I said, and I wanted to just be focused, just to think that I’m a good player to be here, that it was one mistake that I made in the previous game with Toulouse, and it doesn’t affect me. That’s what I showed the outside [world]."
