Barcelona took advantage of Real Madrid's stumble against Villarreal, although not in the way the 'Cules' had hoped. Xavi's side were held to a goalless draw by a Girona side who made it very difficult for the Catalan giants' attack and managed to take a point from the Camp Nou.
Xavi Hernandez was asked about Robert Lewandowski, who has scored just three goals since February. The Pole has scored 26 goals for the Catalan club this season but is currently not in his best form.
"I'm not worried about Lewandowski, I'm worried about winning La Liga. We played a good game against Girona. We lacked success in front of goal, but I think a victory was deserved," the coach said.
"We’re 13 points ahead of second place, with 10 games to go," he concluded. The Spaniard did not want to talk about the striker's form and continued to answer other questions.
