Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised the recent performances of Kai Havertz, who has won over Gunners fans, after his side's 2-1 Premier League win over Brentford.

Kai Havertz decided to swap Chelsea for Arsenal this summer and try his luck still in London but wearing red. However, the German striker did not get off to a good start in his new life as a Gunner.
The former Chelsea striker had already been criticised earlier in his career for not being as prolific in front of goal as other strikers, something that also happened in his first few months at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Arteta never lost faith in him and little by little Havertz has been finding his place in the Gunners' squad, putting in impressive performances that have been key to his side's position as one of the favourites in the race for the Premier League title.
His fine performances and four goals along with two assists in his last five appearances have seen the striker win over Gunners fans, especially after his late winner against Brentford.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta himself said he would not have believed a few months ago that the Emirates Stadium was chanting the German striker's name at this stage of the season.
"If someone told me that after the first 2 or 3 months the whole stadium is singing Havertz song with that passion, it would be hard to believe. That’s what happens to good people and an exceptional player. It’s impossible not to love him," said the Spaniard.
