It looks like doors are already opening for Mason Greenwood, even just 24 hours after Manchester United made it known he would not continue his career at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils put out a statement on Monday with the conclusions of their own internal investigation into the allegations made against the 21-year-old, after he was charged with attempted rape, among other charges.
The police investigation was dropped in February 2023, but the club then began their own investigation, before deciding in August that the former England international could not remain at the club regardless.
The English press are already reporting interest from clubs abroad who are looking to secure the services of the striker, with 'Daily Mail' citing Turkish clubs Besiktas and Galatasaray, as well as Greek side Aris Salonika.
The same outlet, as well as 'The Sun' also report interest from Saudi Pro-League side Al-Ettifaq, now managed by former Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, with the club said to be considering offering Greenwood a contract worth up to £10 million-a-year.
The window for the striker to join Gerrard's side would not close until September 20th, as the transfer deadline in the Gulf league is later than in Europe's top leagues.
