Iran is the only team participating in the Qatar 2022 World Cup that has not filled all 26 possible player places, after FIFA made all the official squads official.
Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, Iran's coach, definitely called up 25 players for the World Cup. All the other national teams took advantage of the option of having one more.
In total, 831 players will have the option to take part in the 22nd edition of the World Cup, which kicks off on Sunday 20th with the match between hosts Qatar and Ecuador at the Al-Bayt Stadium.
A good number of national teams have allowed their top players to wear the legendary number 10, such as Argentina's Leo Messi, Croatia's Luka Modric, Brazil's Neymar Junior, France's Kylian Mbappe, Denmark's Christian Erkisen, Senegal's Sadio Mane, Serbia's Dusan Tadic, Netherlands' Memphis Depay, Germany's Serge Gnabry, Costa Rica's Bryan Ruiz, Cameroon's Vincent Aboubakar and American Christian Pulisic.
