Kylian Mbappe, who scored one of the goals in Madrid's win over Stuttgart, said he was "happy" with the victory over the German side in their European opener and assured that it is "negative to say" that he only came to Real Madrid to win the Champions League, because "there is much more".
The player from Bondy played his first game in European competition with the 'Merengues' at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"It was a great night. We wanted to start with a win and it was a difficult match. It's important to win the first games, the Champions League has changed and you have to win quickly. They played well and we had problems playing and getting the ball out from the back in the first half. In the second half we had chances to score, we pressed, we played well and we scored," said Mbappe, speaking to 'Movistar Liga de Campeones'.

Mbappe also spoke about his team-mate Endrick, who scored the third to round off the win in stoppage time.
