Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal said that Saturday's 4-0 win at the Santiago Bernabeu, coupled with Wednesday's Champions League win over Bayern Munich, showed that the Catalan side are "ready for anything".
"When we were winning in La Liga it was said that they were mid-table teams and that in the important moments, we would see what happened. Madrid are one of the best teams in the world and we beat them 0-4. We have shown with both Bayern and Madrid that we are ready for anything," he told DAZN.
The forward pointed out that Barcelona came "with a lot of confidence" and the players were only thinking about "scoring as many goals as possible". "It's very enjoyable when you listen to your fans more than your opponents‘ fans in their stadium," he added.
Despite admitting that a win in a Clasico is "something very important", Lamine Yamal clarified that "it's only three points", so now it's time to carry on and think about the Espanyol game next weekend.
