Leny Yoro was one of the young centre-backs who attracted the most attention from Europe's top clubs last season, hence his departure from Lille last summer was inevitable. Despite reports that both PSG and Real Madrid were heavily interested in him, the French centre-back finally decided to join Manchester United.
The former Lille man recently gave an interview with Red Devils icon Rio Ferdinand for ‘TNT’, in which he explained his reasons for his recent move to Manchester United.
"For me, Manchester United is the biggest in the world. To play for Man United is... even when I was young, the players that were here, the history, the fans. Everything is big here," said the young defender.
The Red Devils gem is eyeing a possible return to action in December, when he could make his first competitive appearance for the English club after a foot injury sustained in pre-season has kept him off the pitch this season so far.
