Paul Gascoigne played the most important game of his life after hanging up his boots. The former player opened up on a television programme, confessing the other side of the coin, the side that not everyone shows.
The former Newcastle, Tottenham and Lazio midfielder, among others, confessed on the reality show 'Scared of the Dark' about his addiction to alcohol: "I'm not afraid of anything because of everything I've been through in my life".
Paul Gascoigne recounted his ordeal: "I've had near-death experiences, 36 operations. I've died a couple of times after fighting demons and been put in a coma for 18 days. People keep telling me I have more lives than a cat".
Basically, the former footballer will have to be in 'Scared of the Dark' along with seven other celebrities in a completely dark bunker for more than a week - eight days to be precise - to complete a series of challenges.
