Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has been pleased with his side's recent performances and said Mauricio Pochettino's side are playing "beautiful football".
The Blues' boss, who is in his second year at the club, spoke about the team's current form at a Sportico conference in Los Angeles. "In the last two and a half games, against Aston Villa (2-2), Tottenham (2-0) and West Ham (5-0), we have played beautiful football," said the American.
"It was very fluid, exactly how we want it. When we were getting the ball out from the back and moving up the pitch in an organised way and with the number of shots we are taking.... In these two and a half games you can really see that we are coming together. Even the comments have changed in that time. I've never seen anything change so quickly," Boehly added.
The team's good run of results has meant that they can even dream of 5th place in the Premier League, the one that gives access to the Europa League. The Blues are four points behind Newcastle with three games in hand. They visit Nottingham Forest this Saturday, Brighton in midweek and close the league next Sunday against Bournemouth at home.
