Bad news for the Blues. Nicolas Jackson, who was expected to arrive in time for the Premier League showdown against Liverpool, will not be able to help his team on Wednesday as his flight was delayed.

A week ago it looked as if the Ivorians were set for a humiliating group-stage departure from their own AFCON, but now they are into the quarter-finals after beating Senegal 5-4 on penalties.
As a result, Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino tried to get Nicolas Jackson back for Wednesday's Premier League encounter against Liverpool after Senegal's elimination from the African Cup.
However, the Senegalese national team ordered their players to return to their homeland before leaving for their clubs, which delayed the flight the Blues had arranged for him.
Pochettino had hoped the 22-year-old could arrive in time to feature at Anfield but the striker will not be able to bolster the Argentine's attack on Wednesday.
"All I can say is that maybe he will be there. The other day Ghana lost and were out and Inaki Williams arrived a few hours before and played in the second half to beat Barcelona in the Copa del Rey. Why can't Jackson arrive and score the winning goal?," Pochettino told reporters on Tuesday.
"[I'm] sad they [Senegal] lose. But selfishly I'm happy because maybe he can be with us," he added. Chelsea will not be able to count on Jackson for the showdown against the Reds but will have him available very soon for their next crucial games.
