That doesn't worry Kun, who knows the 24-year-old well. "He's an ideal player for Simeone," Aguero said in a stream on Saturday while watching Manchester City.
"At Atletico Madrid, he will play every game because of how he plays and because he is not competing with Haaland. Last year he played a lot because Haaland got injured, but if he doesn't get injured this year, he would still be the second choice," said the former Argentina striker.
Aguero sees the addition as a win-win for both parties: "Julian at Atletico will feel like the No.9 starter. The club and Simeone want him and I think the fans are thrilled with his arrival," he concluded.
