"Just too good mate" - Bellingham praises Madrid youth product Asencio

The breakthrough of Real Madrid academy player Raul Asencio is one of the few pieces of good news Real Madrid have had this season in terms of the ‘Merengue’ team's defence.
After serious injuries to Eder Militao and Carvajal, added to David Alaba's injury, who is still recovering from a serious knee injury, has led Carlo Ancelotti to put his faith in the 21-year-old Spanish defender.
The ‘Los Blancos’ youth product had his first big test when he started the first leg of the Champions League play-offs against Manchester City and certainly lived up to the expectations placed on the young defender.
Pairing up in the centre of defence with Aurelien Tchouameni, the Spanish defender was key in stopping the Cityzens' attacks, although he could not prevent Haaland from securing a brace against the “Merengues”.
As well as earning praise from Carlo Ancelotti, who highlighted the youth player's ‘maturity’ despite his young age, Jude Bellingham commented "Just too good mate" on Raul Asencio's Instagram post.
