Juventus have been handed an injury blow following their 3-1 defeat to PSV, which eliminated them from the Champions League, as Renato Veiga has suffered an injury to the tendon in his right leg.
The Turin side confirmed the blow after the Portuguese had been forced off the pitch early at Eindhoven, with Cambiaso coming on to replace him just past the ten-minute mark.
"Renato Veiga, who was substituted during the first half of Wednesday's match against PSV Eindhoven, underwent diagnostic tests at J|Medical this afternoon," read a statement from Juve.
The club added "The examinations revealed an injury to the tendon of the plantar gracilis of his right leg. The player's recovery time will be evaluated according to his symptoms."
While Juventus did not specify recovery timings, 'Sky Sport' have informed that the Chelsea loanee is expected to be ruled out for 2-3 weeks.
