The winter transfer window has reached its halfway point and several teams are making their final attempts to reinforce their squads for the second half of the season. In a window where no big moves are expected, the bargains continue to come in.
One of the latest to be mentioned is young Tiago Djalo. There have been several teams bidding for the services of the Lille centre-back, whose contract expires in June 2024 and who was the last chance for the French side to make some money from his sale.
As a result, and as reported by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Juventus are the main favourites to land him. The said media suggests that they will get the 23-year-old defender for an amount close to 3 million euros.
Djalo has returned to competition after being sidelined since last March due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Despite this, the player has already played a total of 26 games, 25 of them as a starter, so far this season.
