Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri main option for Napoli's bench
Napoli are looking for a new coach for 2024-25 and the clear favourite for the job is Massimiliano Allegri. According to 'Il Mattino', if Juventus decide to terminate his contract this summer, Aurelio de Laurentiis could offer him an escape route without leaving Serie A.

Massimiliano Allegri 's future is far from clear. Although he is contracted to Juventus until 2025, the poor results of the 'Vecchia Signora' could make the board decide to change course and dispense with his services at the end of the season.
Napoli are keeping a close eye on Allegri's situation, according to 'Il Mattino'. Francesco Calzona has a contract with the 'Gli azzurri' until June and everything indicates that there will be no renewal for him.
Giovanni Manna is set to become Napoli's next sporting director and is a big fan of Allegri. He wants him, in case he is sacked from Juventus, to take the place that right now belongs to Francesco Calzona.
The 'Vecchia Signora' could terminate his contract with Allegri, paying him half of his salary and allowing him to embark on the 'Partenopei' project. The only stumbling block that Napoli, or rather De Laurentiis, can find in the operation is that the fans are not happy with his appointment.
The institution has several names on the table to take the helm next season. In addition to the aforementioned Allegri, Antonio Conte, Vincenzo Italiano, Stefano Pioli and Gian Piero Gasperini, among others, have been mentioned, so we will have to see what happens this summer.
