La Liga announce date for Atletico v Real Madrid derby

La Liga is already preparing the first La Liga showdown of the 2024-25 season. Atletico Madrid will host Real Madrid on Sunday 29th September at 21:00 CEST in the Cívitas Metropolitano derby.
Until then, Diego Pablo Simeone's side will host Valencia on 15th September at 21:00. They will then make their Champions League debut against RB Leipzig at home 4 days later at the same time. Also in the 21:00 slot, they will visit Rayo Vallecano and Celta on 22nd and 26th September respectively.
For their part, Real Madrid will visit Real Sociedad on 14th September at 21:00. They will open the defence of their continental title three days later at the Santiago Bernabeu against Stuttgart. Then, they will conclude his three matches at home against Espanyol and Deportivo Alaves on 21st and 24th September, respectively.
The La Liga champions know that Atletico Madrid were the team that created problems for them last season. A ‘Colchonero’ project that makes the most important leap in quality in recent years and wants to fight for the national crown.
