During Matchday 24 of La Liga EA Sports and Matchday 27 of La Liga Hypermotion, La Liga's specialised team implemented dynamic blocking measures to disrupt the illegal streams. The organisation stated that these blocks were neither indiscriminate nor widespread but specifically targeted at identified IP addresses hosting pirate services and unauthorised streaming platforms.
As part of its ongoing fight against piracy, La Liga continues to collaborate with various telecommunications providers to track and shut down illegal streaming sites. This initiative aims to safeguard the economic sustainability of clubs and protect the primary revenue streams of the football industry.
Additionally, La Liga publicly criticised Cloudflare for allegedly facilitating piracy by protecting criminal organisations for financial gain. The league reaffirmed its commitment to tackling digital piracy and preserving the integrity of the sport.
