La Liga and Puma announced on Monday the new winter ball called the Orbita Yellow Ball, which will be used for La Liga's low-visibility matches. The launch campaign featured Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal, Atletico Madrid's Jose Maria Gimenez and Barcelona's Inigo Martinez as protagonists, showing how the new ball allows the game to remain exciting regardless of the weather conditions.
The ball features a design focused on improving visibility in low light and difficult weather conditions and the revival of pop art and street art to convey the energy of La Liga football. With a vivid yellow tone combined with purple, black and turquoise, it facilitates the visibility of the action for players and fans.
The ball's 1.2mm 3D textured PU surface enhances control and touch accuracy and its structure of 12 large, seamless, sealed panels has been designed for stable flight and consistent bounce, the press release notes.
