Rafael Leao has been playing for AC Milan for five seasons after joining from Lille for the 2019/20 season. The 24-year-old is one of the key players for the Serie A side as he has scored six goals and provided six assists this campaign.
Nevertheless, the left winger believes his time in Italy has come to an end and wants a change of scenery for next season. The Portugal international wants to play in the Premier League, according to 'Foot Mercato'.
The same media outlet reports that Newcastle are keeping an eye on his situation and will try to sign him in the upcoming summer transfer window with the help of Sandro Tonali, who played for Milan last season.
However, the Magpies will have it complicated as they are not the only ones interested in his services. Leao will receive several offers in the next transfer window but Paris Saint-Germain could become the main contenders to sign him.
The Parisian club are already looking for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to leave the Parc des Princes in the summer. But it remains to be seen if Leao wants to play in Ligue 1. For the moment, his future is up in the air.
