Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe refused to meet officials from Al Hilal, dealing a potentially fatal blow to the Saudis' ambitious hopes of completing a world record 300-million-euro swoop.
The future of the French star is becoming more and more uncertain. However, according to several reports in England, the striker could play in the Premier League next season.
Liverpool are reportedly in talks with the Parisian club to sign Mbappe on loan for the 2023/24 season. As a result, he could leave the Parc des Princes in 2024 as a free agent to join Real Madrid.
Nonetheless, it is unknown whether the 24-year-old will accept the offer as the Reds will not play in the Champions League next season. They managed to qualify for the Europa League.
PSG are desperate to find a new destination for the France international. Mbappe has previously held talks with Jurgen Klopp and his transfer could be not so unexpected.
