Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold has given an interview to 'Sky Sports' in which he left several quotes that have made headlines in the British press. It is especially the Reds fans who have been left worried after reading the English full-back's recent words.
The Reds defender has revealed that his dream is to become the best full-back in the history of football and to become the first in that position to win the Ballon d'Or. "My main target? I'd say to win a Ballon d'Or. Because I believe I can. I want to be the first full-back to ever do it," he said.
The Three Lions international will be a free agent at the end of the season if he fails to agree a new contract with Liverpool and there are rumors of a possible move to Real Madrid next summer.
Therefore, many Anfield fans believe Alexander-Arnold will move to the Spanish club as it is widely known that playing for 'Los Blancos' gives you a better chance of winning the prestigious prize.
