Luis Diaz saves a point for Liverpool at Luton

Liverpool were better than Luton in the first half. Darwin Nunez warned Kaminski with several shots before the 20th minute was reached, one of them hitting the post. Kaminski made several saves to deny Klopp's side the opening goal. Both teams went in at half-time with the score level and it was not until the second half in the 80th minute that Luton took the lead with a goal from Chong. Luton counter-attack after a Liverpool corner where Barkley finds Kabore with space on the right flank and Kabore crosses into the box for Chong to score the opener. In stoppage time, Elliot's cross from the right flank for Luis Diaz brought an equaliser for the Reds. Liverpool's draw at Kenilworth Road was not enough for them to follow in the footsteps of Manchester City and Tottenham.
