PSG coach Luis Enrique said Friday he was surprised by the "spectacular adaptation" of Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo (20), signed from Sao Paulo in January, and considered him "a player of the future" for the Parisian club.
"Considering he is such a young player, who doesn't speak the language, who comes from Brazil, without knowing anyone, he has had a spectacular adaptation," said the Spanish coach at a press conference on the eve of the league match against Le Havre that could see PSG win their 12th French league title.
Luis Enrique described the signing of the youngster from Piracicaba as a "great addition" and attributed it to Portuguese sporting director Luis Campos. "He is a player for the future of PSG, at least while he is here".
The clash against Le Havre, which could see the Parisians crowned in front of their Parc des Princes crowd, precedes the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Dortmund (1 May).
"We are at the end of the season in very positive circumstances, I didn't imagine them at the beginning (...) We are in a splendid moment in every sense, we have all the players available, except Kimpembe and Sergio Rico," said the former Spain coach.
