Manchester United are already looking at potential signings for next season and Joselu Mato is one of the contenders to move to Old Trafford. According to 'Relevo', two scouts from the English side were in contact with the Real Madrid striker's inner circle and agents to find out about his situation a couple of weeks ago.
The idea with him would be for him to join Old Trafford in a back-up striker role in which he is already performing remarkably well at Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti is aware that he does not have the quality of Vinicius and Rodrygo but is happy to play when needed. Joselu has scored 13 goals in 38 games this season.
If the Red Devils decide to make a bid, they will have to negotiate with Espanyol, who own the striker. The 34-year-old is contracted until 2025. The Spaniard is also keen to stay at Real Madrid but will have to talk to the Catalan side to decide his future.
His market value is 6.7 million euros, which is affordable for Manchester United. For Joselu, the Premier League would not be a new experience as he has already played for Stoke City and Newcastle.
