Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham suffered a shoulder injury in the goalless draw between 'Los Blancos' and Rayo Vallecano. However, the England midfielder did play against Sporting Braga in the Champions League, although continued discomfort in his shoulder meant he missed the 'Merengues' crushing win over Valencia.
However, the former Dortmund man will travel with the Three Lions squad for specific work to strengthen his shoulder, according to the Spanish side's coach Carlo Ancelotti.
"Yes, he is going to England, but to be assessed. If he can't play today, he can't play for England. He has to do specific work to strengthen his shoulder and he will do that in the next few weeks. I think he will be able to come back after the break," he said.
With Bellingham's injury also joining James Maddison and Callum Wilson, Gareth Southgate has been forced to make changes and has called up youngsters Cole Palmer and Rico Lewis.
