Man City director of football Begiristain set to leave job at end of season

City will waste no time in starting work on his replacement. According to the source quoted, work could start in January 2025 so that the transition is not so painful.
Txiki Begiristain and Pep Guardiola have been linked since the latter's arrival on the Barcelona bench. Begiristain was the architect of Barcelona's commitment to a home-grown coach who has become one of the most successful coaches in the club's history.
