Manchester United have not forgotten about Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. The playmaker is still on Red Devil's manager Ten Hag's wishlist ahead of the summer.

As well as getting deals done in this transfer window, Manchester United are also thinking about next season. In January, they have got Jack Butland and Wout Weghorst in on loan.
According to the 'Manchester Evening News',Ten Hag's side are not losing sight of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. In the summer, the Dutchman was the spoken about endlessly ove a possible move to England.
However, what the player wanted proved strong enough to out-do both clubs' intentions - the aim was to get any type of departure to relieve the hefty wage bill that the Catalan side then had.
Even though there is a second bite at the cherry round the corner, the midfielder's stats are still low. De Jong has played 23 games in all competitions with the Spanish giants, scoring two and assisting one.
