Cristiano Ronaldo is the idol of many of today's football stars, as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's legacy will live on forever and has inspired an entire generation.
Already a few months ago Arsenal's young stars Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli revealed that if they could meet one person in sport it would be Cristiano Ronaldo. But the two Gunners wingers are not the only Premier League players who have recently admitted to admiring the Al Nassr player.
Manchester United winger Antony, in an interview with English media outlet 'United Stand', picked out Cristiano Ronaldo when asked if there was a player he grew up admiring. "I grew up admiring Cristiano Ronaldo. This guy is a phenomenon! It was a dream come true when I met him," the said.
In addition, the former Ajax player also had time to hit out at some TV pundits who have played for Manchester United such as Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville for "making unfair or malicious comments" and "never giving constructive criticism".
The 'Selecao' international is not having the best of times at the Mancunian club, having made just 14 official appearances this season so far, 9 of them as a starter, failing to score or assist.
