Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has undergone heart surgery and will be out for several weeks, the club said. Mazraoui, who joined United this summer from Bayern Munich for 15 million euros, underwent the operation after suffering "palpitations".
According to United, the player should be back in action within the next few weeks. The Moroccan full-back has started all seven of United's Premier League games this season and now joins Harry Maguire, who will be out for several weeks with a muscle problem, and long-term injuries to Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw.
Moreover, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo were unable to attend their respective national team commitments in recent days due to various physical problems.
