Kylian Mbappe, who had expressed an interest in staying at Paris Saint-Germain this season and leaving as a free agent in 2024, has refused to extend his contract with his current club.
However, according to 'Sky Sports', both parties have been negotiating the possible extension of his contract in recent days. The 24-year-old has two options to renew his deal.
The same media outlet reports that the French striker could extend his contract for one year due to a clause in his current contract. Otherwise, Mbappe could sign a new contract with new conditions.

After refusing to renew his contract, the striker was sidelined at the beginning of the pre-season and missed several friendlies away from France. But he made up with the Parisian team and was able to play against Toulouse, although not as a starter.
Real Madrid, who have been following the French star for several seasons, have made it clear throughout the summer transfer window that Mbappe was not going to arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this summer.
