Luis Enrique won the French Cup with PSG after beating Olympique Lyon. The Asturian finished the season with three titles, in addition to the Ligue 1 and Super Cup.
After the match, Luis Enrique spoke to the media and was asked about Mbappe: "I think I have been lucky to coach Kylian but it has been a difficult season for him because after seven years and all he has achieved it is always hard to say goodbye. But he was always prepared to help the team and tonight was the cherry on the cake even if he didn't score."
"It's obvious that he's a different player, we're not going to replace him with any other player. Four, five, six signings... as many as we can make. Mbappe's replacement will be the team, with the fans we have and the ambition this club has to win everything, we'll try to do it in the coming seasons and we'll see if we're capable of doing it," he added.
The Asturian also spoke about what can motivate a player to join PSG: "It's a big challenge for any player who wants to come here. We want to make history. This club will win the Champions League sooner or later. It may take years, but it will win it in the future without a doubt."
Finally, when asked to name his team's best player all season, Luis Enrique didn't think of Mbappe: "Vitinha, without a doubt". The Portuguese has been a key player for the Asturian.
