"Messi is a Barca legend, it would be fantastic to have him"

Barca are waiting for La Liga to give them the go-ahead on the viability plan to go for Leo Messi. The Argentinian ends his contract with PSG on 30th June and, although he has no firm proposal from his former club, he knows more or less how much he can offer them.
Ousmane Dembele, in a chat with Telefoot', opened the door to the World Cup 2022 winner should he decide to return. "Messi is an absolute legend here, to see him back with us would be exceptional," he said.
Personally, the Frenchman does not want to leave the Camp Nou without a trophy that obsesses him: "My big dream is to win a Champions League with Barca, winning a trophy with the club you love is something else".
The former Dortmund player made it clear that, at least for the moment, he has no plans to try his luck at other destinations. "I've been a Barca fan since I was little, I've always been a fan of this team. I feel very good here and I hope to become a great player," he said.
He admitted that "because of injuries" he has not done as well as he could, but hopes things will change. "I could have done much better. My development has been slowed down by certain ailments," he admitted.
