After being linked to Barcelona for several weeks and while a departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of season is almost certain, Lionel Messi could end up joining Crisitano Ronaldo in the Saudi Arabian league, but this time with rivals Al Hilal.
'El Chringuito' announced that the Argentine is thought to have agreed to join the Saudi club at the end of the season. He would also be followed there by two ex-Barcelona teammates, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, if they turn down new contracts at the Spanish side.
Signing in Saudi Arabia would mean the World Champion would have an increased salary, while a return to Barcelona would force him to take a considerable pay-cut.
Journalist Mohamed Bouhasfi has added that Al Hilal have made an offer to Busquets and Alba of their own accord to try and convince Messi to come. Marco Verratti is also on their minds for a future move.
