"Messi's return to Barcelona? Dreams are free, but not footballers..."

Leo Messi's contract with PSG expires in June 2023. PSG owner Al-Khelaifi has already made it clear that, as soon as the World Cup is over, he will sit down to talk to the Argentinian about his future at the Parc des Princes.
FC Barcelona, the team he left in the summer of 2020 because the club could not afford to renew him financially, dreams of his return. A return, however, that Jordi Cruyff finds complicated.
"When we talk about Messi, there are many issues, such as financial fair play. Dreams are free, but footballers are not. And it's not Messi, in general, it's the whole market," he said in an interview with 'Sport'.
He admitted that, as a Barca player, he has memories of his family, of his father, for whom he would be delighted to see the Argentinian at the Catalan giants, but he prefers not to put a date on his return. "When two great players have made each other great, it's important for that story to end in a happy ending. How? When? I don't know, but they both deserve it and they should make that effort.
