Milan rule out paying 20 million for Dest: he will return to Barca

Sergino Dest's time at Milan is not going as expected. The right-back joined the Serie A club on loan from Barcelona. He has a contract with the Catalan club until 2025.
The United States international joined Milan because he did not get much playing time in Xavi's side as he only played 14 competitive matches. Nevertheless, he has only played eight games in Serie A.
According to 'Marca', Pioli's side will not activate his option to buy. The Italian board ruled out paying 20 million euros for his signing. As a result, Dest could return to Barcelona at the end of the season.
For this reason, the Spanish side will have to find a new destination for the defender as the former Ajax player does not seem to fit in Xavi Hernandez's projects for next season.
