Alvaro Morata and AC Milan are days away from joining forces. The Atletico Madrid striker, who recently won Euro 2024 with Spain, and the Italian side have reached a verbal agreement.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the agreement between the two parties is complete. Milan will pay the clause of the Spain No.9, i.e. 13 million euros.
In this way Morata is removed from the media spotlight he has had in Spain. The striker has complained on more than a few occasions about the way he has been treated, which is why he has opted to move to Italy.
Morata will sign for the next four seasons with the Italian side, who have managed to convince him in the middle of the European Championship through Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The former Serbian striker has requested the signing of the Spaniard as a priority for the 2024/25 season.
This week, the Atletico Madrid striker will undergo medical tests in the Spanish capital. It is expected that his move to Milan will be made official in the next few days.
