Julian Nagelsmann has been tipped to join Tottenham next season. The coach was surprisingly sacked by Bayern Munich, who are already under Thomas Tuchel.
The Bavarian club had an ace up their sleeve. 'Bild' reported that the Allianz Arena side had included a clause in his contract that forces the coach's new team to pay a sum - the amount of which is unknown - into the German club's foundations before the summer transfer window.
Julian Nagelsmann leads the list of possible candidates for Tottenham's 2023-24 coaching job. Spurs announced the sacking of Antonio Conte, who shot himself in the foot in the press room after the draw against Southampton.
The 35-year-old's rumoured new journey would be his fourth as a coach. After spells at Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich - all in the Bundesliga - the north London outfit could be his debut outside Germany.
Julian Nagelsmann, with Real Madrid also on the horizon, left the Bavarian side after 91 official matches between July 2021 and March 2023 with one Bundesliga title and two Super Cups.
