Napoli deny rumours of Mario Hermoso's arrival

Mario Hermoso has been without a club since 30 June, when his contract with Atletico Madrid came to an end. In Italy, several clubs have been linked as possible destinations for the centre-back, including Napoli, who have denied all rumours.
"Tuttosport continues to link Hermoso with Napoli. The defensive line was completed with the arrivals of Marin and Buongiorno," the Italian club wrote on social media.
Napoli underline that "Hermoso is not part of the club's objectives", in case anyone still has any doubts. The team that had been most strongly linked with a possible destination for the player have made it clear that they will not be making an offer for the Spaniard, so we will have to wait and see what fate has in store for him.
