Napoli, one of the most striking surprises in these first months of the season, are keeping a close eye on Kvaratskhelia. The great figure of the ‘Partenopeo’ team has a contract until 2027 and a clause of 130 million, but from the Italian club they are already thinking about extending his contract and offering him a substantial salary rise.
The sporting director of the Italian side, Giovanni Manna, has commented on the situation of the Georgian at the Social Football Summit 2024: "We want to reward him for his time at Napoli because he deserves it. Beyond the fact that he has another two years on his contract (until 2027), we want to give him a prize. We are still negotiating and if we don't reach an agreement now, we will discuss it again at the end of the season".
Napoli want to protect ‘Kvara’ at all costs, who has a lot of top-level teams monitoring him. In recent days, ‘La Reppublica’ has reported that Barca have 80 million ready to sign the Georgian, who is also closely followed by PSG.
The Georgian striker has five goals and two assists in 14 games this season. The player is in a great moment, as is his team, who are narrowly leading the Serie A standings with 26 points.
