Real Madrid already have a date and time to lift La Liga trophy. It will be neither against Granada at Los Carmenes nor at the Santiago Bernabeu against Alaves. It will be on Sunday in a private ceremony at Valdebebas training complex.
COPE' and 'Marca' reported that the intention is that Real Madrid can show the title to the authorities on Sunday, and that is why RFEF president Pedro Rocha will hand it over the same day at 9.30am at the home of Real Madrid.
It should be remembered that Real Madrid did not celebrate the title on Saturday, after winning La Liga, due to the proximity of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.
For this reason, the decision was made to hold a bus parade, a visit to the institutions and a celebration in Cibeles on Sunday morning. Everything will start at 11.00 a.m. at the headquarters of the Community of Madrid, continue at the Town Hall and end at Cibeles.
The 'Merengues' did not want to receive the title at Los Carmenes due to the delicate situation of the Andalusian team, who could even be relegated in the same match. That is why they asked to do it at the Bernabeu. In the end, it was decided to do so by an intermediate option.
