Pini Zahavi on Sunday put the brakes on the euphoria that has been building in recent days among Santos fans, who were excited about a possible return of Neymar. The agent, in statements published by Fabrizio Romano, denied that there are negotiations for his agent to leave Al Hilal, where he is "very happy".
"There are no ongoing talks for Neymar to leave Al Hilal. He has a contract and is very happy there," the journalist shared on his official Twitter account. On the same Sunday, Cesar Luis Merlo, also linked to the transfer market, spoke of an agreement between the player and the Brazilian club.
In addition, Zahavi referred specifically to the rumours about a return to Santos and warned that only two people can speak with authority about the striker's future: "Ney's father and I are the only people who can speak about his future. I don't know where the latest rumours are coming from".
The news came just minutes after the Peixe played their penultimate game of the season. They lost at home on the penultimate matchday of the Serie B against CRB, in a 0-2 defeat of no importance for the locals, who already had promotion and the title mathematically in their pocket.
