"Not many people trusted us, but we have been working"

Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella felt that the Spanish national team had deserved the title for everything they had shown throughout the European Championship, which he described as "an incredible journey".
"We deserved it from the start. Not many people trusted us, but we have been quiet, working," he told 'RTVE' at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, where Spain beat England 2-1.
Cucurella valued the fact that the Spanish team knows how to "play football, but then they also know how to suffer as a family" and recalled that they had made a great group after 45 days working.
"At the beginning, we were just players and now we are a family, how we have done it is incredible," added one of the great revelations of the tournament to continue the same line of group marked by Luis de la Fuente from the start.
